I mentioned maybe shipping the RV to Alaska a couple of weeks ago when someone was asking about driving to Anchorage AK. To get to Anchorage via highway requires some SW driving (back tracking) the way the only overland routes go...
One comment was it would cost a "bunch of money" to ship the RV to Anchorage...
I know some of our DOD groups that went to CLEAR AIR FORCE STATION, ALASKA for required inspections in my working years had to take their own GOVT own vehicles with them. This is located in about the center of Alaska near Anderson,AK.
