In Nova Scotia we have a vehicle registration that we carry in the vehicle but we are also issued a Certificate of Registration that is to be kept in a safe place. These are issued for all plated vehicles be it a car, truck, rv,boat or utility trailer. We used to take this with us but the last few crossings we did not and just used our vehicle registration. Something tells me we will be taking both this year ;)
