Very hot and humid. I wouldn't go there and stay in a condo or hotel let alone an RV in the summer. I have been around the west coast and northern coast and was eaten by noseeum. I was in the north central last March with no bugs at all. The non coastal areas are the only place I will go in Fl and only in Dec to March.
I used to go to Sanibel in late September and it was far too hot for me. We went from the pool to the condo and then ran out and started the car so it could cool down and get to an air conditioned restaurant. I was always eaten by noseeum and had scab marks for months. I would wake up grinding my foot into my legs as they itched so bad and end up bleeding.
I would be heading for the mountains of Colorado or Arizona and California. Sorry, that's just my experience.
Just my opinion as some may love the heat and humidity.
