We bought a tiny "C" in England and toured around Europe and when it came to the larger centres, we just parked in some small village that had a train station outside of the city. Dave
Thanks Dave. I want to buy also, then just sell it when I return. Buying in Germany seems such a pain due to residency requirements. If bought right and sold right, buying would seem cheaper than paying $15,000 to hire (rent) a vehicle.
I see you bought in the UK. Did you have the wheel on the right side of the vehicle during your European tour? I'm concerned I couldn't drive that configuration too well, especially if I'm rubber necking anyway.
Yes the steering wheel was on the right side. It took awhile to get used to it but left side steering wheeled RV's visit the UK all the time so you could adapt I'm sure.
We bought about an hour out of London but when we had finished our trip, we went back to a street in London where folks were selling and buying RV's etc. We just camped in the vehicle until it sold.
