Sacramento to crescent city California

The Safeway for fuel is in Willits.

Sacramento to Hwy 20. We always stop for a break at Mac Donald's in Williams easy in and out with a large parking lot for trucks & RV's. Then head over 20 it's a nice road, we take our time and enjoy going around the lake.
Many turn outs if we need to let car pass.
Stop at Safeway for fuel then enjoy 101 going north.

We have also taken that route, but I like taking I-5 to Woodland then 16 NW to 20 W and 20 W to 101. We also like to take various routes to Grants Pass Oregon then 199 to Crescent City. Traveled these routes in various RV including a 30' MH with Jeep GC behind. Dick

I would take I 5 north to Williams, then take hwy 20 over to clear lake and then continue on Hwy 20 to hwy 101. then north on Hwy 101 to crescent city. Easy drive. This is my preferred route and I fuel up in Willits at Safeway, corner of Hwy 101 and Hwy 20.
