Safe Stop between El Paso and Las Cruces, New Mexico

Ok,y'all, I will be traveling between NE Texas and Scottsdale in a couple of weeks for a horse show. I have been told to try to get past El Paso the first day. Is there a good place to dry dock some...

Here's the best deal:
Behind the Camping World is the former American RV Park, now becoming a KOA. The sites are all large, long, and 50 Amp and reasonably priced. The location is safe and reasonably quiet given being 1/4 mile from I-10. It's easy on and off, follow signs for the Camping World.
