I finally got around to a rough plan for next summer. Opinions?
June 7th: 8 hour drive for Palo Duro Canyon—Grand Canyon of Texas in Amarillo.
June 8th: Horseback riding and exploring
June 9th: 9 hour drive for Estes Park Rocky Mountain National Park
June 10th: explore and sites?
June 11th: 6 hour drive to Sinks Canyon State Park in Lander WY. Stay in Sleeping Bear RV Park 10 min away
June 12th: explore canyon and sites?
June 13th: 3 ½ hour drive to Grand Teton National Park
June 14th: float Snake River, explore and sites?
June 15th: 1 ½ hour drive to Yellowstone National Park. Stay in Fishing Bridge RV Park within park
June 16th-17th: explore, Mammoth Hot Springs, and sites?
June 18th: 7 ½ drive to Glacier National Park, MT
June 19th: explore and sites?
June 20th: 8 hour drive to Cody, WY stops at Little Big Horn and Devil’s Tower
June 21st: explore, Buffalo Bill Historical Center, and sites?
June 22th: 6 ½ hour drive to Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, Custer, Blackhills
June 23rd -24th: explore, Whistler Gulch, Wind Cave, Evans Plunge Hot Springs Water Park (1 hour away), and sites?
June 25th-26th: drive to Oklahoma. Just over night stops.
June 27th: stay with David in Owasso, OK.
June 28th: drive home
