If you enter Pennsylvania on the PA Turnpike, get off and take US 30 (the Lincoln Highway) in the Greensburg area. It will take you past the Flight 93 Memorial near Somerset PA. Then continue east on 30, it's a scenic route and will take you through Bedford, Chambersburg and into Gettysburg.
It's a nice drive and the Flight 93 Memorial is worth seeing.
