SE Michigan to Texas in July
I need a good route to a NE suburb of Houston from I75 area south of Flint, MI towing a 5th wheel in July.

Get to I40, then I30 to US 59 at Texarkana to Lufkin then 69 on into NE Houston. Good roads, avoids Dallas. However make sure you have GOOD tires as it's hot in July.- Unless it is a wedding or a funeral I would not go to Houston in July! :)
- Plug it into Google Maps (or you mapping app of preference)?
No real mountains or other problems to worry about.
