Seattle to Arizona in late October early November route?
What would be the worst or best route to take during that time frame? I would like to avoid snow storms and bad roads. We have two to three weeks available for the trip.

Our home base is Reno.
This year we leave for Eloy, AZ Nov.15 (weather permitting) and we immediately get warm by taking I-80 over the hill to Woodbridge (Lodi area) for our first overnight.
Then down the 99 to Bakersfield overnight. Next is CA-58 to I-40 to Needles overnight. Next for us is the 95 to Quartzsite.
From there it depends where in AZ you are headed. We take the 10 East to the 85 to Gila Bend then the 8 to Eloy.
Reason we go over 'the hill' right away is that it is usually cold with good chance of snow. There is already snow up in the Sierra's and Sunday there were chain controls up at Donner.
