Would an alternative route be to take 199 west out of Grants pass ? Or wait for weather to break and stay on I-5? 40' diesel pusher, new drivers.
101 south to Hwy. 20 east to I-5. I-5 to Southern Calif. or I-5 to Hwy. 46 to Hwy. 99, then 58 east to the desert areas.
