Seattle, WA to San Antonio, TX in April - route suggestions?

I-84/I-80/I-25/US 87 is probably the quickest route to Texas as long as the roads are clear. April is our second snowiest month in Colorado and March is the snowiest. And April is also one of the windiest months of the year in Colorado and New Mexico.

So watch the wind as well as the snow when you check the long-range forecast before leaving the PNW, then pick the least hazardous route.
