Seattle, WA to San Antonio, TX in April - route suggestions?

We did that trip two winters ago to attend a funeral. We live in Tacoma area and just took I90 to I 84 and I15 Then after Salt Lake City we kind of just cut thru Utah and New Mexico eventually ending on I10. The only snow we hit was above Pendleton
Because of the nature of our trip we were focused on the destination but it was a pretty nice trip.
