According to AP a section of I10 near Blythe Ca has collapsed and the road is closed

- Who has the mile marker for this?
- OMG! We were planning on using that route - we normally do - when going from Tucson to Indio, CA and back this winter. Will go the I-8. Fortunately we have that (longer) option but at least we have an option.
- Hopefully no one was hurt. On the brighter side California is getting some much needed rain. I would think the sultan sea is also getting some much needed rain.
- Photos from CBS @ Palm Springs showed the collapse over a running wash.
It happened shortly before 5 p.m. at Eagle Mountain Road in Desert Center, which is between Indio and Blythe
