Part of the fun is to make a sign, we had our kids make one up out of one of our leveling blocks using a hammer and chisel when we were up there for the 50th anniversary of the Alaska Highway in 1992.
Another important suggestion: Be sure to document exactly where you posted the sign! We were back there a couple of years ago, we spent multiple hours looking for that 1992 sign and we never found it because of the large numbers of signs and posts placed since our original visit. Maybe a GPS locator would help!!
