Silver Falls SP to LaPine SP route 22??? OregOn
We are towing a 19 foot trailer. Is highway 22 safe???? Can you suggest an alternate route?

- Not my favorite but since we live west of Salem now and camp host at Lapine it is the only road. When you get here stop by north loop and say hi.
- Not only safe but very scenic...you will have a hard time keeping your eyes on the road.

- Hwy. 22 is perfectly safe and that is one of my preferred routes over the Cascades. Once you hit Hwy. 97 head south towards LaPine.
