Slow Trip from No VA to Wells, ME avoiding ALL Interstates
Is such a route a possibility?

Go on google maps. Select your start and end points. Then click on options and select to avoid highways. Check out the route they give you and make adjustments where needed. I did it from Sharpsburg, VA to Wells, MA. It takes you through downtown Harrisburg, PA. Where it says to do that I would hop on the highway for 10 miles to bypass the city.
