Well it warmed up here quite nice. 24F which is almost short sleeve weather accept for the 18" of snow that fell here last night with 14" to 18” more forecast for Sat night into Sun A.M. All this snow is piled onto of the 64" that we have had so far this season. Well northern Maine does get some snow during the cooler months. The extended forecast predicts that this coming Tuesday we have a ‘nor-Easter coming that could drop more double digit snow amounts. March is typically our big snow month which usually means two storms with up to 24” accumulations each. The snowbanks are up over the gutters on part of our house now. Some of our windows are completely covered with snow so it is impossible to look outside. At least the 30 to 40 below zero F wind chill season is mostly past. It won’t be long now and we will be digging out the 5er.
