Smoky mountain fire
US 441 is closed due to a fire that started today in the area. G'burg is enveloped in smoke and ash is falling all over in town.

No definite word but Elkmont is right there in the thick of the fire area. Anyone familiar with this area, I'm telling you, its very bad and things will be forever changed here. 441 will be closed for a couple more days I predict. The south end of Pigeon Forge is included in all this too. Dollywood's DreamMore Resort was evacuated too. Smoke is very thick in the air all over and its plain hard to breath outside.
