Has anyone actually RV-ed in S. America seeing as this sub-forum has S. America in the subject? Would you rent an RV there, or somehow ship one there? My bucket list has a visit there, but not very...

There are people who visit this forum who have done it and they can probably give you tips on where to find info. Don't listen to the nay sayers who always come on here saying they are too afraid to go anywhere. We have been roaming all over Mexico during the winter for quite a few years and never had a bit of trouble. To get to South America you have to travel some rougher roads and then we have heard you have to load the RV on a ferry to get to Columbia. Hopefully someone who actually knows something will see your post and come on with some useful info. Keep checking back.
