South Carolina Welcome Centers and Rest Areas

I wouldn't set up lawn chairs or anything, but I've never been told to move. Even when posted overnight stays not allowed. I think they post signs for liability reasons.

Some states say no overnite , but I have never seen anyone told to move . No LEO or SEC will tell a sleepy driver to move on !

I travel I75 and I95 quite often and have never been bothered .

Are you talking about SC, or just in general?

We have noticed hardly any of the Welcome centers and rest stop areas allow overnite parking any more like they use to... I have dozed off on occasion and have had a trooper come tap on my window...
