South Tahoe to Yosemite Pines

Just got back from Yosemite Lakes RV Park. Of all the routes suggested, the one that I would be worried about, but still take, is the 120 route. From 49 you take 120 up Priest's Grade to Groveland. That Grade is something like 8 degree road with a lot of switchbacks for 4 miles. My rig is 36' plus another 10' or so for the Hummer dinghy, and it was really tight on a couple of switchbacks. I'm not sure if there are any alternate routes that are better. There is a "back" way from Coulterville, but I haven't taken it in 8 years.
