I agree with Peg Leg, definitely down I-65 to Montgomery then US231 south through Dothan to I-10. Depending upon where in FL you're going you can take I-10 to I-75, but we usually go south on US19/98. It's mostly 4 lane and a LOT less traffic than I-75. You can always cut over to I-75 via 98 through Brooksville. Good roads all the way. Just came down this way on January 19-20.
