Spare tire for Alaska trip ?
I have one year old Michelin tires on my coach ? Do I really need to take a spare on a trip to Alaska ?

What size 22.5? I carry a used unmounted tire on my roof as cheap insurance if I cannot find a tire in a reasonable time and at a reasonable price. You should be able to find a used one for less than $100. Wrap it in Alum Foil and plastic and if you put it around a vent in the middle of the roof (no need to fasten it down) you do need to put a short piece of hose under it so it does not create a damn and water in the vent.
