Thanks Tatest, but I guessed that was where you were going.
Can't remember if you're a snowbird or not :h, but when you leave the north you got to make miles straight south to get away from snow/storms. I90 to I39 can get you into trouble. Not a problem heading north when you can wait things out.
Your route I've done before, they are good roads. Almost got killed on 49 in Desoto though. Lot of no and where on that divided highway.
FWIW that's why I keep my question to the point and not ask for over a thousand miles of opinions.

BTW, when will your home state fix their roads. Other then the toll ones, they are some of the worst in the US.
