We travel it frequently. Lots of people in fast cars and many big semis in a big hurry, too. Many almost ghost towns along the way including Luning and Mina. Hawthorne is prosperous due to military. Walker Lake is beautiful. We camp there. Our sig photo is a Walker Lake. Cheap or free.
