States with the worst roads
Was a bit of a surprise to me that the usual suspect was not on the list: The list You can ignore the commentary in the article I just posted it for the list.

I really doubt that this survey is well done. On this list there was tens of thousands of hours on the highways. And the consensus opinion of people here does not match up with this list. I'd really have to see just where their subscribers are doing their driving. Do they have a lot of drivers in California and Louisiana? I have to doubt it.
I personally have been thru a number or most of the states that they list as having bad highways and my experience does not match up with their claims. Iowa for example didn't seem to have unusually bad roads and we drove all the way across the state, east to west, last year mainly on secondary roads. We did run into a few rough roads inside towns but the highways weren't that bad.
So I call hogwash on their list. And who would put road paint markings at the top of their list?!
