Stay out of Rocky Point!

The shoot out took place about 3 resorts East of the Reef per Nightly News. Appears no one else was in harms way. Sadly this stuff take place everywhere around the World. Not an event to avoid Rocky Point.

You said it well. We agree totally, and admire your common sense.
Yes, we are currently in Mexico, and will be here for quite a while longer, and feel safer driving back to the border than we do driving through Los Angeles on our way to and from the border.

Go ahead and blast me. Over reaction. There was a shoot out in a Reno hospital yesterday. Should I call my sister and tell her not to go near the hospital there? I mean afterall, there are crazy shootouts everyday now in the U.S., Canada, France, the list goes on. At least here I know my kids are safe at school, theaters, hospitals and public venues.

In the link above , there was a radio interview with the mayor. He assured everyone that things were under control. They killed the thugs and good on them to get them. Now get back to having fun. Put things in context, not out of context. The world is the same everywhere.

When control of the area has been established is when I would say it would be safe but who knows when that will be. Don't look for Mexico to publish information any time soon.
