Stockton, Ca to Phoenix

French Camp Rd south of Stockton is a decent road from 5 to 99 or 46 from Lost Hills.

The quickest route is 5, 210 (mid day) and 10. All of the above other routes are longer but less traffic. The 2 lane 58 west of Barstow is in poor shape. The 4 lane portion is OK. I don't recall any significant delays on 58 this summer.

Below is the way we go every Fall;

Get over to the 99-S when you can to Bakersfield...we usually stay overnight at the Orange Grove RV Park.

Then the 58 to Barstow picking up I-40 to Needles, Ca. Plenty of places to stay overnight...we are Elks members so we stay at the Lodge...6 sites, 50 amp FHU's.

Then we take the ramp left for I-40 East toward Kingman. Then take exit 144, take ramp right for US-95 South toward Blythe.

Then turn right onto US-95 / E Broadway St.

Then turn left onto CA-62 to AZ-95 / S California Ave. to I-10E to Phoeniz.

All good roads.

Wife has chemo in stockton 3 more times. Would love to spend 3 week there but need to come home.
they are going to fly us down for a week and they have accommodations for us.
sure makes us feel special.
