What are you going to replace S&T with? Need suggestions, recommendations, experiences with the alternate software products. I currently am using S&T 2013 with A GPS sensor, for trip planning and somestimes as a GPS device for navigation.

Last trip I created a map with Google maps. Created it using PC. Downloaded it to my cellphone. Marked rest areas, travel centers, campgrounds with their own icons. Worked great.

Just continue to use MST&T 2013 for planning purposes. Shoot, I'm still using 2009 and will for years to come.Then get something like a Garmin 50LM for about $100. Or go a bit money that will handle routes. The garmin has life time maps which you can upload at your convenience.This is the combination I use. I figure out my trip and make notes on route points. Go ahead and find them in the Garmin which adds them to Recent Find so easy to locate on the road. Works for me since I don't usually have a particular route in mind, but travel according to what roads look like and signs that point to things interesting.

I use Delorme Street Atlas USA. Don't know how long it'll be around, but for now it's still good.
