Suggestions for a trip next Summer

Looking for someplace amazing to take the camper van next Summer -- someplace in the western half of the U.S. due to time constraints. We live on the Olympic Peninsula in WA -- and we'll have about 3 weeks to go wherever our hearts desire.

We've done the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion, as well as Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. We're not locked in to a time of the year and we're open to absolutely anything. We'd love to hear some of your suggestions, ideas and experiences. Tell us about your favorite must-see places and help us plan our own adventure. We appreciate your thoughts -- THANKS!
  • How about Northern New Mexico? The Cumbres Toltec scenic railway, Aztec National Monument, Chaco Culture National Park (if you don't mind the rough road to get in), the High Road to Taos, Taos itself, Abiquiu (Georgia O'Keeffe country), Santa Fe for museums and great restaurants, and the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta (reservations open in two days for next year to have a site in the Balloon Fiesta Park by the launch field - and the first weekend sells out very quickly.)

We just spent a couple of weeks doing all of those things, and you would still have enough time to drive there and back.

This was our second trip and I'd go back tomorrow.
  • Come visit the beautiful Okanagan Valley.
Tons of wineries, scenery, lakes and things to do.

Take a road trip up Highway 97 the longest north south route in North America.

Visit Vancouver Island, some of the best scenery in the world and lots of great RV Parks.
