Suggestions for winter road trip from Santa Cruz, CA.
We'd like to do a two or three week trip to an adjacent state in the Southwest in our motorhome, probably in January or February. Prefer scenic destination. Any gems to suggest? Thanks.

Really depends, are you thinking warm or cold, and what are your interests and what do you like to do. How about Death Valley, (if you haven't been, this is a good time) to Las Vegas I'd go to Hoover Dam and then down to Lake Havasu, and all the way down to Yuma and over to the Salton Sea, Anza-Borrego Desert and then over to 101 and home. I'm the kind of person who likes to stay put for a few days and check out the area instead of taking a quick look and moving on.
