I spent an entire summer in Mexico 7 years ago. Nowhere was uncomfortable. It was even cold in San Cristobel. Lots of rain, but it mainly came in a downpour for an hour each afternoon. Quite pleasant after that. I travelled both coasts. Mexico City was cool and foggy most of the time. Most uncomfortable was the northern west coast along the sea of Cortez.
