I am just west of you on US-50. We have towed to Rapid City via US-50 to US-385 in Colorado then up to the Black Hills. At the time we had a 1/2 ton Dodge with a 5.2L engine and a 27' TT. We had absolutely no problems and enjoyed every minute of it.
