One thing to be aware of if you're plugged into a 50 amp outlet (I know, they are very scarce in Mexico); A 50 amp RV system has two hot legs and one neutral whereas a 15, 20, or 30 amp system has only one hot leg and one neutral. Therefore, with a 50 amp system, when you plug any type of monitoring or protection device into a 110 volt receptacle (outlet) you are only dealing with one of the two hot legs. One of the more dangerous problems is when you lose one of the hot legs. The best way to check/protect the power is with a 220 device right at the receptacle on the power pedestal.
The loss of a hot leg has happened to me fairly often in both the US and Mexico. Most of the time it was caused by dirty/corroded contacts in the circuit breaker and could be corrected by turning the breaker on and off a couple of times. This is only a temporary fix. You should always notify the park so they can replace the breaker and check the integrity of the box.
