AC in winter in Mexico????? Depends on where you are. We average 88 F high and 72 F low in January, the coldest month. AC is on from about 9am to 9pm!
99% of the time we use a couple of fans that we bring with us. Most of the people that we know and have been coming to Mexico do the same. Besides, most RV parks' power will run one AC units if you are lucky. More than half of the parks we have stayed at in the past have had only 15-20 amps only per site. Always interesting to see the folks in a caravan show up and immediately start their gen so they can run ALL of their AC units. Remember one guy came into Chimulco in Villa Corona, parked in his site and tarted his gen with THREE AC units. Villa Corona is NOT hot. Only time we have really ran our AC was to close up the rig and get away from the no-see-ums on the coast. Fans are all you need most of the time in Mexico!
