Very well written Briansue. I have a question from a friend in the park with a 2009 Endeavour (Monaco). He can not use his portable surge protector as the voltage goes over 132 often, and shuts shore power off. Equipped with the motor home is a Smart EMS system by intelectic (sp). This automatically shuts down appliances as needed to stay on or below 30 amps. His set incoming shore power.
May he use any voltage regulator from the pedestal, to his surge protector and finally to the coach without adverse effects? He wishes to get some brand of a 30 amp voltage regulator, here in Mazatlan, failing that, to order one.
I'll have him read your comments; thanks very much. Tom
P.S. who ever that was in San Carlos last week with the brake lights on for most of the evening; they were still on at 6 in the morning after you thought you may have fixed the problem.
