Yes Electric cars are just like E 85 fuel. The carbon footprint is worse than just ordinary gasoline. Politics. In Mexico much of the electricity is generated with oil so there is no advantage to electric cars. But Mexico embraces technology so they will adapt to new systems faster than the rest of NA.
