That is an oxymoron in the sense that who else will pay? It is always the consumer and we have known for years all of this would come to an end. Socialist democracy never works. If it says "social" in it, the end will always come. End to subsidies, end to free electricity for employees (now the first 385 KWH are no charge), layoffs, etc.
This will only force people to do what we have been trying to do for years. Get an education, work hard and join the rest of the world. A changaro that sells abarrotes just doesn't cut it anymore. Let's face it, big box is here to stay.
And the best part for those who pay their dues is that the CFE and its new subsidiaries are on the hunt for those that steal power, an endless problem over the years that affects everyone in terms of price, power issues, and corruption.
