SW Missouri to Lake Superior. Best route?
The family and I are getting ready to head up to the Pictured Rocks area of Lake Superior….we will be staying at Munising Campground right on the lake. I’m wondering what the best route is to take...

I'm a little farther SW of you. I've traveled that route and it's ok, but my preference personally is to head north to Des Moines, east on I-80 to Davenport, north on US62 to Dubuque, and US151 to Fond du Lac, then US41 north. Past Marinette I'd suggest M-37 along the shore for an occasional view of Lake Michigan. The reason for my preference is twofold: less traffic congestion out west, and I think the US151 stretch from Dubuque to Madison is scenic.
