Tacoma Narrow bridge

With Sequim as your destination Tacoma Narrows is the shorter of 2 major bridges. Hood Canal is longer and only 2 lane - and floating and mostly close to the water. Puget Sound has lots of peninsulas and islands. Sequim is on the Olympic Peninsula. The bridges go to and from Kitsap Peninsula. And depending on the route you could also drive on Brainbridge Island or Whidbey Island.

From Everett the most enjoyable trip is the Mukileo ferry to Whidbey Island, and leisurely drive along half the island, and another ferry to to Port Townsend.
