Tacoma Narrow bridge

I'am planding a trip from Everett, Washington to Sequim,Washington and I want to use the Tacoma Narrow Bridge. I'am having trouble finding a route that will take me there safely, I have a 40' 5er and I would like to know if trailers and motorhomes are aloud on the Bridge and is there a toll that I would have to pay.Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. I live in Calif and will be going up North for a couple of weeks in July.

  • I would not like the Narrows bridge as compared to taking the Edmonds Ferry.
Or even go down Whidbey Island and cross at Keystone/Port Townsend.
Must be pretty special for using the Narrows Bridge!
  • Check the weather...high winds on the bridge are not uncommon and can be brutal.

Or, you can drive south through Olympia and take 101 around to Sequim. It's nice country.

  • My daughters live in Tacoma and Gig Harbor Wa. There is no toll going from Tacoma to Gig Harbor. You only pay coming from the Gig Harbor side to Tacoma.
I think they may have raised the tolls since last year but, am not sure. It is a beautiful bridge. Enjoy your trip.
