Drove the Big Sur Highway {Monterey down to Morro Bay}, last month in our 24' Class C. That stretch of road is not recommended for a rig like yours. IMHO: A few do it but most should not in anything over 30'.
You will encounter lots of bicyclists {most of whom have a death wish}, much of that stretch has little or no shoulder whatsoever. There are numerous pullouts but most folks just don't bother to use them. Add in the motorcycle crowd trying hard to drive that road way too fast and the frequent pea soup fog that often engulfs the road without warning and you have a recipe for disaster.... add an RV that is incapable of staying inside the double yellows (yours is) and you are just asking for trouble.
A much better way to go would be to park the fiver and drive it in your truck. Spectacular gorgeous road that you will enjoy so much more being on the correct side of the safety equation.
As always.... Opinions and YMMV.
