- westernrvparkowExplorerThere is no major river named the Taylor in Montana. There is likely some small tributary or stream called that by some locals. Montana has thousands of small creeks and lakes that do not have formal names. People will call them all sorts of things. They name them after their relatives, their horses, their state of mind, whatever.
