Tell me about the 101 along the coast of Oregon
Starting to plan a month long trip in September to the west coast. Tell me how the drive is from Astoria down the coast. Will be driving a 42' Winnebago and Jeep toad.

I assume you intend to drive Hwy. 101 south. That is the preferred route as there are turn outs on the right hand side and you won't have to cross traffic. Fabulous views, great state parks as well as private RV parks. September in Oregon is one of the best months and you will still find things crowded so make reservations in advance if you want to stay right on the coast. Lot's to see and do and that in itself would be a long discussion.
