Tequila...not our colleague here, or the town

We're leaving Roca Azul on Monday heading to Tepic and, eventually, Nogales. We thought about stopping at the town of Tequila but threads seem to say it isn't RV parking friendly.

So, need to buy some bottles of the stuff for gifts. Would like to get something that is not generally avail NOB. I know nothing about it. Chapala Soriana had a huge array. What should I get? Love these guys but expensive stuff would be a waste on their pallets.

This is RV related because if I don't get an answer I will drive the 35J into Tequila Centro. :-)

    Out at Cerritos, Mazatlan North) specifically the Brewha (sp) witch on a broom restaurant, just inside the walkway door they sell 3 types of the stuff. Hands down favorite is the coffee tequila which comes with a weaved casing. They put this on after purchase. Way up in price this year at 400 pesos each. Maybe less now as the tourists must be down some.
