texas to colorado
we'll be making a trip from Granbury, TX (a little SW of Fort Worth) to South Fork, Co. Am interested in any suggestions on roads/routes. We'll be towing a 5th wheel pulled by a diesel truck.

I agree with Desert Hawk having lived in Southern Oklahoma and Amarillo and going to Southern Colorado many times. I would add two suggestions of places to stay and things to see Palo Duro Canyon State Park and instead of continuing North on I25 from Trinidad to Walsenburg take Highway 12 the Highway of Legends Camp at either Trinidad Lake State Park Or my choice Monument Lake.
