Texas to Florida
Planning a trip to Santa Rosa RV resort Navarre Florida.. Looking for advise on routes to take and what to avoid..All suggestions and help are appreciated !!!!Thanks in advance..

We go through Wichita Falls to Decatur TX and take US380 east.
We used to take this route but it has become extremely congested with many traffic lights and small towns north of Dallas.
Instead we now take US 82 at Henrietta, TX to either Sherman where we take US 69 or stay on US 82 all the way to Texarkana and then south on I-49.
At Mobile is it better to go through on 98 or go around to the north on 65 and I65?
I can't remember the highway numbers, but my GPS guided me to a good route from US 98 to connect with I-65 or even to a direct connect with I-10 near downtown Mobile. Wish I could be more specific, but if you look it up on Google Maps I think you will see the route we have taken on recent trips. The alternative is to stay on US 98 to I-65 and zip around south to I-10.
