The Narrows in Zion

Favorite part of Zion was hiking "The Narrows".
  • Busskipper, is the area that you were referring to? This is the Pulpit of the Temple of Sinawava, not far from the Narrows parking area -- we were looking south, down the canyon. I used a small incandescent (not LED) flashlight to paint the Pulpit -- the beam was too weak to reach the more distant rock walls. It was too cold for us to hang out on the hood of the car -- this was in November. But using the hood as a recliner is a great idea for our next visit, which should be in a warmer season!

You got it - We tend to only go to Zion in the Winter - but usually just means the sky is clear and the nights are Crisp - If anyone were to have the picture in MY minds eye it would be You.

    Thanks for sharing,
