The Southern Migration has begun!

Left Montana middle of Sept. and have been here in San Felipe Baja Mx for a couple weeks now. More and more people are arriving daily, looks to be a very busy fun season here.

Been sleeping in our camper along the Sea (of Cortez) shore in Sonora and Sinaloa for the past couple of weeks. Saw maybe three or four RV's when we went to dump our tanks in San Carlos, but not sure we've seen any out on the highway. Drove into Celestino a couple hours after cocktail time, hurrying thru the dark, and hit a real head banger of a rut on the road out to Tortuga. Surprized we didn't bust a ball joint. Looked in three RV Parks along the beach. All empty. Haven't even seen another gringo out here or in Elote where we make day trips for groceries and cafes. Telcel hotspot on my phone almost good enough to stream a Netflix straight thru on my iPad.

9 RVs on the La Peñita express should be in Punta Cerritos Maz tonight, along with 3 or four others headed to the same place independently. Too bad we aren't with them but medical stuff looks to keep us home this fall.

Have fun Tequila. I am not surprised on your observation on lack of RVs. I fly into GDL on 11 NOv and will be picked up by Luis Dos and spend night in Telaqapaky then he will take me to Melaque and help me register my Tracker 3 , Jal plated but me with a Temp Visa.
What is your ETA for LDT TP. I hear that Marco is not there!!

We went North last week. Saw 3 RV's from Hermosillo to Nogales. One of them was a large truck camper who was stopped at the South side of the inspection station. Had his camper tie downs off and the jacks down. Either he had mechanical problems or they were doing a super search!

Welcome home

I am currently wagon master for a commercial caravan. RV's seem pretty scarce down here right now, but it is still pretty early. WE head east into the interior in a few days and I don't expect to see any in places like Durango & Zacetecas.

We are currently in Creel, I hope to try out the new (worlds longest) zip line today.

Spent last night in Patterson CA on our way from Easter Washington to Mazatlan. This will be our first RV trip to Mexico.

Congrats on the new home. Yup, RV traffic has picked up on I19 to Nogales and the local Campgrounds South of Tucson are already a third full. Can't leave yet! :(
